TREATMENTS
MINI FIV
Mini IVF, also known as mild or soft IVF, is a fertility treatment protocol that uses lower doses of hormonal medication compared to conventional IVF. This gentle approach helps reduce the side effects associated with ovarian stimulation while still supporting successful egg retrieval and fertilization.
Step-by-Step Treatment Process
1.
FERTILITY CHECK-UP
When you schedule your check-up, your doctor will begin with your medical history, perform a transvaginal ultrasound, and order any additional tests needed to determine the best time to start your treatment—all within our facilities.
2.
OVARIAN STIMULATION
Your process begins on the second or third day of your menstrual cycle. The key difference in Mini IVF lies in the ovarian stimulation phase, which is gentler and aims to produce fewer but higher-quality eggs for fertilization. Follow-up visits are scheduled every 4 to 5 days to monitor progress.
3.
EGG RETRIEVAL (OVARIAN PUNCTURE)
The eggs are retrieved in our clinic’s operating room through a procedure that lasts approximately 15–25 minutes. During this time, follicles are aspirated to collect mature eggs. Recovery takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
4.
IVF IN THE LABORATORY
In the laboratory, our embryologists carry out the process in several stages over 6 to 7 days:
- Day 0: Fertilization is performed on the same day the sperm sample is collected.
- Days 1–3: Development reports are issued.
- Day 5: Final development report — your doctor will inform you which embryos have matured appropriately and are ready for transfer.
All procedures are conducted under the supervision of our team of specialized embryologists.
5.
ENDOMETRIAL PREPARATION
Similar to ovarian stimulation, this phase starts on the second or third day of the menstrual cycle. Follow-up visits every 7 days allow us to monitor the endometrial lining and ensure the uterus is ready to receive the embryo.
6.
EMBRYO TRANSFER
Once both the endometrium and embryo are ready, the transfer is typically performed between days 20 and 22 of the cycle. After your final follow-up appointment, the doctor will determine the optimal date for the procedure. You and your doctor may decide whether to transfer one or two embryos—always prioritizing your health and safety to avoid high-risk pregnancies. Our
